Our mission
The Counseling Center for Women (CCW) is Israel’s only professional mental health center and NGO dedicated exclusively to the empowerment of women, specializing in psychotherapy from a feminist perspective. Since its establishment in 1988, CCW has provided therapy to thousands of women from all segments of Israeli society regardless of religion, sexual orientation, age, income or level of education.
CCW offers therapy with a professional staff of social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists who specialize in work with women and trauma. CCW offers individual and couple's therapy to women, heterosexual and lesbian couples, who are dealing with a wide range of challenges, emotional hardships and distress. Therapy is provided in CCW's Ramat Gan and Jerusalem Branches, as well as satellite clinics in Rishon, Rehovot, Herzliyah, Ramat Hasharon and Berachia (northern Negev, Ashkelon region).
